Mrs. Salgado

 I am truly blessed to be here at Wing Elementary working with you and your children.

I began my career path at NYIT and followed with my masters at Stonybrook University. I majored in art and technology. I have taught both subjects and now have found a way to incorporate both!  I have also used these skills to run workshops in Huntington with children ranging from four to sixteen years of age.

I was born in Nashville, Tennessee and have been here for fourteen years now. For as long as I can remember I was sketching animals from life on the farm.  

I enjoy fishing, horseback riding, and teaching.  I love to read and draw.  My true passion is working with your children!

My main goal is to introduce many different styles, cultures, 

and techniques studied in the arts. Together we will learn and 

incorporate all of the elements and principals of design into 

our projects. We are going to be using a variety of materials, 

paint and charcoal, among others. 

Together we can make a difference!
